THIRD GRADING PERIOD

--->Card day had already passed. All i can say is, I have done a good job this second grading period, but I must strive harder to attain higher grades. All of my grades went up except on one subject, the TLE(ICT-IV). My grade went down for about one point. But it is just okey because I think, I did not perform well this grading period. About our exercises in ICT-IV, we made three exercises. The exer 8, exer 9 and exer 10. Those exercises are enjoyable to make. Our exercise 8 is all about font styles, font colors and font sizes. I have new learnings regarding this topic. I enjoyed making this kind of files. We changed the colors of some words, and we also changed the font style and font size of the other words. We also had our exer 9. We added some pictures to every paragraph. We just typed the tags with attributes that is given to us by our teacher. It is just an easy thing to do. In making these execises, we must be patient. Our exercise 10 is hard to do because, if you had a mistake in typing, the file would not be opened. In this activity, we used some tags for hyperlink.

--->I have encountered some problems while I am making our activities. Sometimes, the letters that I have encoded was wrong, so i will change it again. These activities are not easy things to do.

--->I have solved this problems by typing well. I double checked the words that I am typing. I became patient in typing for me to finish the activities faster.

--->Moving on,... I will try my best to do our activities for me to have higher grades this third grading period. I must have higher grades this time...

Christmas Vacation

--->Christmas... It's all about loving and sharing and giving. During the christmas vacation, I felt special, I feel that my family, my friends and loveones love me very much, because they care about me. We must give love on christmas day!!!...

--->For me, christmas is very important to our lives because during this season, we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ the saviour of the world. One important thing about the christmas season is completing the 9 mornings of the misa de gallo's. Fortunately, I completed the 9 mornings of the misa de gallo's. At first, I thought I can't complete that but because of my determination to attend the 9 mornings of the mass, I sacrificed to wake up at 3:00 am. I really enjoyed my vacation because I spent my time wisely, I didn't waste any minute in doing nothing. During the christmas vacation, I have many activities, especially the outdoor ones. I also went to the house of my cousins for four days. I enjoyed staying there because we are not doing the household chores. We just spent our time by doing the extra curricular activities by playing psp games, riding bike, playing the "lutu-lutuan", and many more. Sometimes, we are just spending our time in eating different kinds of foods. That is our past time!!... I love eating but still I am not fat!!... hahaha.... I enjoyed our noche buena, because we ate many foods and all of us are there, having the so- called noche buena. After the christmas day, we went to the mindoro beach just to eat there and sit at the seashore and watch the waves moving to and fro, after the sunrise we already went home. I really enjoyed staying there even if in short period of time only. I feel relax when i am on a beach and watching the sunrise. Before the year ends, me and my family cleaned our house and our surroundings and we also prepared it for the new year. I also attended the mass before the new year comes. After the mass, my dad bought fountain and we watch the fireworks display. It is so beautiful, the colors are like the colors of the rainbow. It it so colorful!.. Then we ate our merienda. We also lighted some of our "paputoks" like 5 star, piccolo and pop pops. We enjoyed it. We had many games that we played. We also had a semi- disco in front of our house. The most enjoyable part is when my family throwed coins and we will pick those. That game is very enjoyable, i really enjoyed it. At exactly 12 o'clock am, we watched our fireworks display. It is very beautiful. I also took pictures during the lighting of the diff. kinds of fireworks. After watching we ate again! During the first day of the new year, we went to the beach for about 7 hours. All we did there is to enjoy eating, enjoy, swimming, and relax!!.. I really did enjoy my christmas vacation.

--->Some says, New Year- New Life, I don't agree on that. All I can say is we must remove all our bad attitudes in order to live a happy and a meaningful life. This year I would like to discipline myself very well and change all my bad attitudes. Happy New Year!!...

Activity 6 and 7

--->The semestral break had again ended. We are now going to start our third grading period. In our ICT- IV we have learned about on how you are going to add color and images to your file. Our exercise is somewhat 'complicated' but I'm trying to cope up with it. During the time we are making the exer 6 and 7, I have learned many things. I have learned how to put a color as the background of my file.We have also tried to put images to our file as the background. I also enjoyed making these things, 'maybe'.

--->There are some challenges that I have encountered. I find it difficult to make these exercises. Sometimes, I am lazy to type or lazy to make my exercise.

--->I have addressed these challenges by being patient. We must be patient in order to make one.

--->Moving on.... I will try to be more attentive during classes. I will cheer myself up for me not to be bored during discussions.

HTML- (an exciting one)

--->We had many activities regarding ICT-IV. I had learned many things. Doing the html file is not an easy thing to do, but there are many things that you will learn from those html files.

--->I was har d up in making those html files. In the first place, I am lazy to type the content of the file, and I also find it hard to make those files. Sometimes, I'm bored in making our activities because we do the same things in making different activities. We are just typing and typing and then again typing, that is what we are always doing. My head is aching. I am tired of always typing but i must do this because in the end, it can also give me advantages. I will be having a grade that I will deserve.

--->I had encountered many challenges/ problems regarding this subject but I also found solutions for this things. Second periodical test is now approaching, I must review well in order to get high in the periodical test.

--->Moving on.... I will continue my good work. I must strive harder in order to succeed in what I am doing because someday I want to be a successful person with a stable job. I will also remember that once, I have done my best to become a successful person for the future.

My Experiences during the semestral break

--->After the second periodical test or let's just say the start of our semestral break is our barangay fiesta. During our fiesta, I enjoyed watching basketball tournaments in our mini plaza. Our mini plaza is beside our house, so I am forced to watch. I also enjoyed going to the "peryaan", it is very noisy there but I really enjoyed staying there. During the day of our fiesta, there is a contest, the "BEBOT". The contenders are very beautiful but in their true lifestyle they are very handsome. This is the happiest fiesta that I have ever had. During our semestral break, I had also attended seminars, workshops and the children's day. At first, I don't want to attend those activities but a thought came into my mind, "I must attend these seminars because we will credited and we will also learn much from these seminar- workshops. Everytime that the sun rises, I think of many things. I am also out of my mind, my mind is like always floating in the air. During our seminar last saturday we tackled about the rights of children. We have learned many things. The second day of the seminar, we adopted chilrens. The name of the child that we had adopted is "Trisha Mae". She is a cute little girl. We enjoyed taking care of her. She is also afraid to mascots. During the three day seminar- workshop on campus journalism, we discussed many things, many, many things and I have also learned a lot. I thought this seminar will be boring but we had many activities that are enjoyable. Everyday, we are having ice breakers. We had also the search for "Mr. and Ms. Campus Journalist". During the All saint's day, I went to the cemetery to visit the tombs of our loved ones who are already dead. We also went to Badoc, Ilocos Norte to visit the tomb of our lola.....

..................I wil not consider my semestral break as a boring one...............

--->These past few days, I felt very very exhausted because we have done many things yet, I am still happy because the time for my semestral break is not WASTED, but I used it WISELY!!!...

WEB DESIGNING THRILL'S ME

--->Eventually, after quite a long time I am here again making my draft for my post number 4. I am very delighted because I can share you my experiences this past few weeks, days and hours. I am very thankful for being in a high section especially in the special science class because we are having advance subjects in preparation for our college life. This is an opportunity that is given to us. Not everybody is given an opportunity to be in the special science class, so we must treasure it. We have already started our lessons for the second grading period. In our ICT IV we have learned about web designing. For me, this topic is an interesting one. Imagine. . . . . . We are just high school students but we are already having knowledge regarding on how web designing is done. We are very lucky to be in this school, im proud to be a member of the Ilocos Sur National High School group. I enjoyed web designing because a can learn much from it. You can develop yourself through web designing. It can also reflect your personality by the designs you are making. I have discovered that web designing is quite a tough job so in order to come up with a good design, we must be patient in making it. "Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them - every day begin the task anew". Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success. I have also learned many things about web designing and all about HTML(hypertext markup language).

--->There are many challenges I have encountered in my daily life. At first, I am hard up regarding our topic, the web designing. I not yet familiar with the buttons there that I am suppose to use. I really don't have the clue, on how will i use those things appearing in that page. I'm confused, i'm really confused. . . I don't know what to do. Sometimes, I'm thinking that I cannot really make one. I am really hard up making those things. Outside ICT IV, I have also encountered some problems:regading my other subjects, in SSG and in CAT. In our other subjects I have encountered problems like: not understanding the lessons very well, and sometimes I cannot follow our topics that were discussed. I have also encountered some challenges in our CAT. Sometimes I am late in our duty. So, next time I must go to school early for not to be late in our duty. There are also students who are hard- headed and they are violating the rules of the school. We must help them in changing their bad traits. That can also be a challenge on our part, to be doing our own responsibilities.

--->We all know that problems are arising but after sometime we can still solve it. Be not afraid of trying to solve your problem because you may not know it can really be the solution to your problem. In our ICT IV, I have already learned how to do the web designing. Im not already hard-up in making one. From now on, I can already consider myself an expert regarding web designing. I have already learned how to operate those buttons appearing in that particular page. I glad that all the challenges and problems that arised, I did find time to solve them by trying to improve myself and my performances.

--->moving on. . . I will keep on developing myself to be a better person as days passes by. I will be patient in everything I do in order to succeed. I hope, i will be learning and discovering more about the worl wide web and in order to understand our lessons i must improve my listening skills and I must also read my notes and futher readings about the topic. That's all for now...

TIME FLIES: so fast

----->As days passes by, there are many learning’s I have learned. Each learning contributes a lot to our daily lives. Our first periodical test is fast approaching. I have learned how to be patient enough in doing things, because if you are patient in what you are doing you will surely succeed in it. Patience is really needed in doing your projects or in reviewing your past lessons. I had also learned how to sacrifice. I slept late for me to review my lessons in the night. I must review because my grades are based on my performances. I have also discovered that if you read your future lessons, it can help you to understand more the lesson, and in the actual discussion you will not be hard up to understand the lesson. There is a saying that, “do the things you can do today because there will might be no time for tomorrow”. We must treasure our time, because time flies so fast. We must not waste time. If you treasure your time, it can make you to a better person. What do I mean is, we must divide our time fair and square to the different subjects we have. The day of the periodical test, I stood relaxed. We will be having our National career Assessment Examination on August 28,2008. I must review in order to get high in that NCAE. I have learned many things in our first grading period, especially in our ICT-IV. My favorite lesson is about the BLOG. I have learned how to make a blog and how to add posts in it. This blog serves as our project for the whole year. This project is very interesting.

----->There are many problems I have encountered. Sometimes, I am hard up to understand our lessons. I am really disappointed with my own attitude, if I am lazy to study my lessons and lazy to do my home works. That is my problem regarding my studies. Sometimes, I don’t really want to open my notebook or book to study my lesson. That is why I am hard up to understand the lesson.

----->i had addressed these challenges by studying hard. I must improve my study habits and always scan notes before sleeping in order to understand well the lesson that have discussed that day. And I must make my home works at night, not rushing it in the morning because rushing an assignment in the school is a very tiring work.

----->moving on.... I will try my best in everything that i do. I will use my time wisely, because time flies so fast. I will also try to improve my study habits.
